Education
Scott College is well known for its unique curriculum and learning options offered including Distance Learning, Dual Standing, Dual Enrollment for High School Students, ESL, Honors Program, Independent Study, Internship and Study Abroad among others. The university also has services for the disabled. The college offers career counseling, job placement and school day care to support its students.
Some of the majors offered by Scott Community College are Computer Science, Foreign Languages and Literature, Personal and Food Services, Business, Management, & Marketing, Accounting, Office/Secretary and Health and Medical, all of which are in high demand in the job market. Successful students will be given career guidance to be placed in the best possible placements that match their qualifications and skills.
Allowed
Although they adhere to the admission criteria, students seeking admission to Scott Community College must submit their ACT scores or take the COMPASS test administered by the college. Colleges ensure that students are placed in appropriate classes, regardless of whether or not they completed high school. Students who have not completed high school may need to take additional courses to prepare them for college.
Education
Remedial education is offered to students who may need special education at no additional cost. In addition, the college has a library with a nursery and childcare center on the Scott Community College campus to meet the needs of its diverse student population.
